Deadlines: Registration opens October 18. Registration and payment due Nov 20. Registration and payment will be through the KMTA website.
Teacher Requirements: When entering students in any event, it is the professional responsibility of every member to assist with that event.
Repertoire: Festive holiday music for any December holiday (sacred or secular).
Solos and Ensembles allowed. All piano and voice solos must be memorized.
Eligibility: KMTA students, ages 5 and up. Each teacher may register a maximum of five pieces (solos, duets, trios, or ensembles) for this recital.
Registration will close when each recital has reached a limit of 25 pieces.
Dress code: Holiday formal wear or concert attire. Dresses or skirts (covering the knee, dressy pants, dress shirt, jacket and tie with comfortable dress shoes. No casual clothing is allowed (such as t-shirts, tank tops, jeans, shorts, athletic wear, tennis shoes). Miniskirts, sweats or anything with exposed midriff are considered inappropriate. Other Notes: There will be 2–45-minute recitals. 10:00 -10:45 and 11:00-11:45. Group photo opportunity for each group will occur immediately following each recital. Students are expected to remain until the end of their recital group.
