KMTA hosts a wide variety of events, including:

• Recitals: Public performances by students and/or music professionals.
• Festivals and Competitions: Adjudicated events, usually not open to the public.
• Tests: Written examinations evaluating students' understanding of music theory and history.
• General Meetings: Monthly gatherings of KMTA members to conduct business, be educated, and network.  Open to the public.
